Programs
At Sankofa Learning Academy, we strive to holistically develop our students and provide them with the tools to succeed in the future. We offer three programs – a child development center, a private school, and an after school program – to best meet the needs of our students.
Our focus on our student’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being sets us apart from other schools. We have created a safe and nurturing environment that encourages our students to explore and discover their passions. Child Development Center
Sankofa's Child Development Center serve students ages 6 weeks to five years old. We operate Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm.
Private School
Our private school offers a full day program for students in grades K-3. 10 students are placed together with a certified teacher with an interdisciplinary project based learning approach. Students spend the first portion of the day, learning core content- reading, math, science, and social studies. After lunch, students participate in exploratory learning with our community partners. This approach gives students a well rounded learning experience with real world application.
After School Program
Our after school program operates Monday - Friday 3pm - 6pm. We accept students in Pre-kindergarten (4) - 8th grade.
Students receive homework assistance and extracurricular clubs including: robotics, cooking, archery, STEAM lab, natural skin care and hair care.
